First, though, let’s have a look at what most restaurants do to attract new diners..

s only around 40%. This figure then rises slightly to 42% if they do come back a second time…
but then jumps to a massive 71% after 3 visits!
In other words… unless you can find a method to encourage every new diner to visit you three times,
then there is less than a 50% chance of that diner ever returning, let alone becoming a regular customer!

What do you do to ensure that a new diner returns?

If you’re like most restaurants, you probably use the method that I call ‘Hope Marketing’…

You HOPE that your good food and good service will tempt them to return again and hopefully become a regular customer.  This could well happen of course, but as you’ve seen from the figures above, your chances are less than 50/50!

You really are just HOPING it will happen!
